TO THE TOP OF MT. WASHBURN

It was August 1,Jeannine and I started our hike to the top of Mt. Washburn in Yellowstone National Park.  It was overcast with a change of rain.  On the drive in we spoted a Grizzly Bear on the side of a ridge, we knew it was going to be a good day.  As we started up the mountain we were thankful it was a cool cloudy day.  We had 3 miles to reach the sumit all up hill.  As we hiked further up the mountain the fog came in along with the rain.  At the sumit the temp was down to 44 degrees.  The trip was beautiful on our 2 1/2 hour hike to the top.  Heading down only took 1 1/2 hours.  We did see our 2nd Grizzly feeding in a medow, it was beautiful to see.  Here are some of the pictures from the trip.
